The pick-up points are to the same layout and geometry as used in the MX5 (1992 model) and the diff mount utilises the MX5 diff "ears" and rubber mounts. Remains to be seen if this is all stiff enough.
The almost complete rear suspension setup. To work in with the MX5 uprights, I had to reposition the top and bottom pick-up points for the coils over shocks (Spax) to the rear. Yet to see how this works out in practical terms. The frame is +100 wide overall and at the rear bulkhead, +50 higher. I did the latter because I liked the sloping back look. The space behind the IRS suspension support frame will take the custom made aluminum petrol tank.
